Experience The Marriage Takeover™

Marriage Takeover exists to help couples stop surviving in their marriage and start WINNING in it. Through God’s Blueprint, practical tools, and a proven system built by two people who fought through addiction, depression, trauma and the brink of divorce – and chose each other anyway for almost 3 decades with a 95% success rate. They have dedicated their lives to helping couples WIN in their marriage by identifying their triggers and breaking generational cycles.
Eric and Temeka Thompson are the walking embodiment of what it means to commit to each other daily. Their love is real. Their relationship is real. Their problems and their solutions are real. In their 28 years years of marriage, they have learned the true meaning of what love is. It’s patient, kind, not selfish, not easily provoked, not proud, not self-seeking, not easily angered. They have seen failures and wins in their marriage but have found that ultimately, God’s love wins above all.
These high school sweethearts are not the love story that one might imagine, but they are the story of commitment. They have fought through many obstacles including porn addiction, depression, suicidal thoughts, lack of communication, misunderstanding, outside influences, insecurities, family death and Temeka being present in the Pentagon during 9/11. But each obstacle gave them an opportunity to grow closer to God and closer to each other. Since being on the brink of divorce and overcoming, they are on a mission to help other couples win in their marriage.

What You Can Expect
You can expect the Thompsons to keep it real, raw, uncut, and offer full transparency so other couples can witness their scars and give them hope and the proper tools to help them conquer the challenges of marriage.
They are high-energy, faith-based, teach with biblical principles, and are full of interaction. You can expect each couple to be ministered to as they have a hands-on approach. They leave nothing on the table, and you can expect the couples to be served as they have servant hearts and fully understand their assignment.
To see them flow in their spiritual gifts is a work of art and something they don’t take lightly. Expect to have a greater appreciation of your marriage (no matter what stage you’re in) what your marriage represents, and why it’s important to protect it.
