Where we met
We grew up in Tallahassee, Florida. Went to Middle School together and re-connected in High School at the Tallahassee Mall – back when they had the Shrimp Pockets.

Eric and Temeka Thompson are high school sweethearts, who set sail to defy the odds of being married young and had great ambitions and dreams to conquer all; until they found themselves on the brink of divorce, becoming super-duper roommates on the verge of losing everything they were building together.
Today, the Thompsons are the walking embodiment of what it means to commit to each other daily. Their love is real. Their relationship is real. Their problems and their solutions have been real. In their 26 years years of marriage, they have learned the true meaning of what love is: patient, kind, not selfish, not easily provoked, not proud, not self-seeking, and not easily angered. They have seen failures and wins in every area but have ultimately found that God’s love wins above all.
Now, they have dedicated their lives to helping couples WIN in their marriage by identifying their triggers and breaking generational cycles.

Our most challenging hurdle
It’s probably a tie between Temeka losing her mother (experiencing grief) and being on the brink of divorce. We were truly super-duper roommates and were only being polite due to the kids.
What we love most about coaching other couples
We absolutely LOVE witnessing couples achieve their breakthroughs and can see hope that they can make it. Our greatest joys are experiencing couples restore their marriage to where they’re enjoying life together again when they didn’t think it was possible.
